No Detention Policy in school from 5 to 8 under NEP 2020
- The no detention policy allows students in Grade 5 and 8 Grades to be held back if they fail to meet promotion criteria after re examination. This is applied in Central Government and Union Territories . In this policy students who do not pass annual examination will receive additional instruction and chance to re appear within two months. In case they fail they will continue in the same Grade with target interventions from teachers.
Engineering colleges to offcer Quantum Tech minor Academic year 2025
- A Quantum Technology UG course is launched with prior approval of Department of Science and AICTE. The UG course will be implemented in AICTE recognized colleges across India. This is the part of National Quantum Mission, the students will be job ready by integrating theory with hands on laboratory experience. The course will be minor for engineering students and it will start in third or fourth semester irrespective of their primary discipline.The curriculum focusses on four core area such as Quantum Computing, Quantum Communication,Quantum Sensing and Metrology,and Quantum Material and devices.
